Donald Leroy Kline of Burton, age 89, died Saturday May 2, 2020 at his residence. Private family service will be held at 11:30 am Thursday May 7, 2020 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison, Chaplin Hank Messing officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery, Columbiaville. Due to CDC Guidelines of social distancing and limited gather at one time, the family will receive visitors from 12:00 noon till 6:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home, the family understand those who may or may not want to join them and they respect their decisions. Those desiring may make contributions in Donald's memory to the charity of their choice.

Donald was born in Burton Michigan on May 16, 1930 the son of the late Ornolf & Mary (Levitt) Kline and has resided in the Burton area his entire life. He was joined in marriage to Gladys Marie Sickner on June 5, 1952 in Columbiaville and she preceded him in death on January 12, 2016. Donald had attended Bentley Community Schools and was a member of the Blacksmith Association of North America. He was a skilled blacksmith and had taught Blacksmith classes Crossroads Village. Donald was employed by General Motors Buick Division retiring in 1979.

Surviving are children; Robert and wife Sharon Kline, Donna Waterson, Donald and wife Andrea Kline, and Sally Parker. He also leaves grandchildren; Tracie, Laura, Jason, Sarah, Adam Katie, Tyler, Kyle, Isabella, Olivia, and numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and a host of extend family and friends.
