Donald Griffin of Goodrich died Wednesday November 3, 2021 at Ascension-Genesys Medical Center. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. No public services are being held. Those desiring may make contributions in Donald's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital

Donald was born in Wayne County West Virginia the son of the late Lucian and Ruby (Hale) Griffin and has resided in the Goodrich area the last forty years. He was joined in marriage to Juanita Elkins on February 5, 1965. Don truly loved the outdoors; he enjoyed his gardens and the produce he raised. He loved hunting, fishing and camping. Don was hands on type of person; he built a home in West Virginia and spent numerous hours restoring and working on cars. Don had been employed by General Motors Pontiac Division and later Buick Motor Division until his retirement.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Juanita, daughter Lisa and husband Mark Simmonds, and grandsons; Trevor Simmonds, and Jarrod Simmonds. He also leaves his brother Edward Griffin and a host of extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by sister Shelby Porter. Please share your condolences at www.hansenfuneralhome.net
