Dolores Ann Bratten of Davison, age 86, died Wednesday August 31, 2022 at Lapeer County Medical Care Facility. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Wednesday September 7, 2022 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Pastor Daryl Taylor officiating: with burial following in Davison Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 4 – 8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in Dolores's memory to the Alzheimer Foundation or Samaritan's Purse International Relief.

Dolores was born in Detroit Michigan on August 12, 1936 and has resided in Davison since 2012, relocating from Lapeer County where she spent most of her life. She married the love of her life Billy James on March 13, 1954. She had a passion for creativity, spending many hours in the kitchen making her famous "Southern Dishes" that everyone loved. She leaves behind many cross stitch and crochet creations that she loved to share with many family and friends. She even dabbled in painting, with her rendition of The Last Supper that the family cherishes. Dolores was a Christian Lady and a member of Community Baptist Church, Davison.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of over sixty-eight years Billy. Her children, Steve and wife Nancy Bratten, Dan and wife Cindy Bratten, Robin and husband Mike Gepfrey, Carol and husband Eric McLachlan, and Nicole Ross. She also leaves her loving grandchildren: Shannon, Jennifer, Chris, Beau, Jacob, Mikayla, Gabrielle, Rylan, Maycee. Great grandchildren: Paul, Hayden, Abby, Hunter, Adleigh, and a host of extended family and friends.
