Dennis M. Eckert of Davison, age 79, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at Ascension-Genesys Hospital. A private burial will take place.

Mr. Eckert was born October 21, 1942, in Dunn, NC to Harold and Agnes (Royal) Eckert. Dennis was married to Cheryl Roland on June 8, 1963. Dennis was a tool and die skilled tradesmen at the V-8 Engine Plant. Following retirement from General Motors, he continued to work for Coles Machine Shop in Davison.

Dennis is survived by his wife of 58 years, Cheryl of Davison; 2 daughters, Denise Myers of Kings Mountain, NC, and Kimberlee (Matthew) Witter of Casa Grande, AZ; a son, Mark Eckert of Davison, MI; 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Dennis is also survived by his brother Keith (Cathy) Eckert, of Farmington MI, and father-in-law, A.L. Roland (Al), of Davison. Please share your condolences at www.hansenfuneralhome.net
