Denise Kay Dobbs formerly of Flint age 57 died Friday January 20, 2012 at Karmanos Cancer Center. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday January 25, 2012 at the Hansen Funeral Home, Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Rev. Sarah Larose-Nettell officiating. Cremation to follow at sunset Hills Crematory. Family will recieve visitors from 4-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Denise was born in Flint Michigan May 28, 1954 the daughter of Harry and Barbara (Hardy) Collings, and had resided in the Flint area most of her life. she was joined in marriage to David Dobbs August 3, 2007. She was a graduate of Carman-Ainsworth Class of 1972. Denise was a avid NASCAR fan and lover of animals. She was a true horse enthusiast, having shown Morgan Horses from 1969- 1985, and continued to train and breed horses until 1991. She leaves to cherish her memory husband David, daughter, Danielle McGlone, mother, Barbara Turner, grandchildren; Brooke and Ashliy, and a host of other relatives.
