David Allen Wizynajtys of Burton, age 75, died Tuesday December 10, 2019 at Hurley Medical Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Tuesday December 17, 2019 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church 6340 Roberta St. Burton. Fr. John Machiolatti, Celebrant. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 3 – 7 pm Monday at the funeral home. David will lie in state at the church from 10 am Tuesday until time of services . Those desiring may make contributions in David's memory to the Hurley Children Foundation.

David was born in Flint Michigan on June 13, 1944 the son of the late Joseph & Margaret (Vedrody) Wizynajtys and has resided in the Burton area his entire life. Answering the call of his country David served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.  He had been employed by General Motors Metal Fabricating Division until his retirement.

Surviving are siblings: Joseph (Mary) Wizynajtys, Eleanor (Leslie) Newton, Paul Wizynajtys & spouse David Barber, sister-in-law Irene Wizynajtys, family friend Jill, and a host of extended family and friends.
