David Roy Stockman of Elba age 67 was called home to Heaven on Wednesday October 26, 2022 at Ascension Genesys Hospital, after a brave battle with cancer. Family will receive visitors from 1:00-3:00pm Sunday October 30, 2022 at Hansen Funeral Home Downtown Davison, with cremation to follow. Those desiring to make contribution in David's memory to the American Cancer Society.

David was born in Flint, Michigan on May 13, 1955 the son of Joseph and Shirley (Thurston) Stockman.  He resided in the Davison and Elba area most of his life. David graduated from Lapeer High School. David had a passion for carpentry, woodworking, and farming. He also enjoyed spending time outdoors and with his family and friends.

David is loved and remembered by his mother, Shirley Stockman; sons: Joseph (Rebecca) Stockman, Stephen Stockman, and Christopher Stockman; eight grandchildren; brothers: William (Alice) Stockman, and John Stockman; nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
