David Grover Moore, age 83 of Davison and Burton, died Wednesday October 15, 2025 at Mission Pointe Nursing Center, Ypsilanti. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday October 21, 2025 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Mr. Benjamen Evers, Celebrant, Inurnment in Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date. Family will receive visitors from 12:00 noon Tuesday until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in Dave's memory to the Veteran organization of your choice.

Dave was born in Flint, Michigan on October 3, 1942 and has resided in the Davison-Burton area most of his life. Answering the call of his Country Dave proudly served in the US Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. Dave loved the outdoors spending time fishing and rock hunting on the banks of Michigan's numerous waterways. He was always ready for a good game of golf or spending time gardening. His love of community was noticed for many years by his support of softball, baseball, and numerous organizations he supported. He was former member of Davison Eagles #3589, Davison VFW 4087.

David's career as an attorney span over fifty years starting with the firm of Connover and Moore and later David Moore Law, after his successful law career; Dave decided to purchase and own and operated Players Inn for over twenty eight years retiring in 2018.

He leaves to cherish his memory wife: Betty. Sons: Thomas Moore, and Alan Moore. He also leaves stepson Russ McComb and Michelle, grandson Brandon McComb, and sister: Judy Moore. He is preceded in death by brother: Tommy Moore. Please share your condolences at www.hansenfuneralhome.net
