LEWIS, David Scott of Columbiaville age52 died Friday July 17, 2009 at Genesys Hospice Care Center, Goodrich. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday July 21, 2009 at the Hansen Funeral Home groves chapel, Downtown Davison. Rev. Jeanne Wisenbaugh officiating. Burial in Meadowview Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. David was born in Flint, Michigan January 31, 1957 the son of Robert & Joann (Cole) Lewis and has resided in the Columbiaville-Otter Lake area since 1986. David was employed as a welder for Complete Hitch Company. Surviving are children; Amber & husband Keith Andersen, and April Lewis. Wife Teresa. Grandchildren; Destiny, Ethan, Carter, and Alexis Andersen, children of Amber & Keith Andersen. Mother Joanne Lewis. Brothers; Bob & Thelma Lewis, Rick Lewis, and Jim Lewis. Sisters; Terry & husband Jim Urbin, Sue & husband Jack Niles, Kim & husband Todd Ryan, and a host of other relatives. He is preceded in death by his father Robert Lewis and brother Tracey "Tag" Lewis.
