David William Laird of Flint, age 67, died Monday August 9, 2021 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 pm Friday August 13, 2021 at Richfield Road United Brethren Church 6259 Richfield Rd. Flint. Pastor John Brainard officiating; burial will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery.  Family will receive visitors from 11:30 am Friday until time of services at the church. Those desiring may make contributions in David's memory to his family c/o Will Laird.

David was born in Flint Michigan on January 21, 1954 the son of the late James & Joyce (Harvey) Laird and has resided in the Flint area most of his life. David was an avid fisherman and a super fan of the Detroit Lions. He also enjoyed Karaoke and many types of music including the Beetles. David had been employed for the Burton Walmart for many years.

He leaves to cherish his memory: wife Carol, children; Will Laird, David Choate, Brandy Choate, Melinda Cabello, Anna Cabello, Carrie Nance, and numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
