David Allen Hathaway of Flint, formerly of Davison, age 59, died Tuesday May 7, 2024 at Hurley Medical Center. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be on Sunday June 23, 2024 at 2:30 pm at Davison VFW Post 4087 8031 E. Court St. Davison, with private inurnment at Great Lakes National Cemetery to take place on Monday June 24, 2024 at 1:00pm. Those desiring may make contributions in David's memory to Davison American Legion Post 267.

Dave was born in Flint Michigan on April 24, 1965 the son of the late Glen and Anita (Andreini) Hathaway spending most of his life in Davison and recently in Flint. He was a graduate of Davison High School Class of 1984. Answering the call of his country Dave proudly served in the US Army.  He was a member of Davison American Legion Post and Flint Arrowhead Veterans Club. David truly enjoyed being outdoors and loved playing golf and  target shooting. He always loved a good game of Cribbage with family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memory: sister Christine and husband Andy Karow, and brother Michael Hathaway. He also leaves his step-father William Ahearn, his nieces and nephews, and a host of extended family and friends. Please share your condolences at www.hansenfuneralhome.net
