David Arthur Buckingham of Davison Township, age 72, died Sunday May 7, 2017 at Hospice House of Shiawassee County. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Thursday        May 11, 2017 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 404 Dayton St., Davison. Fr.  Bob C. Bacik, Celebrant. Private burial in Ortonville Cemetery at a later date. Family will receive visitors from 5 – 8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in David's memory to Hospice House of Shiawassee County. David was born on December 2,1944 in Goodrich Michigan the son of the late William "Bucky" and Anastasia "Dorothy" (Koslowski) Buckingham and has resided in the Davison area since 1998 spending many years in Oakland County. He was joined in marriage to Beverly Austin on October 28, 1966.   David served as a volunteer firefighter for numerous years. David was employed as an Electrician until his retirement. He leaves his wife Beverly, son Paul Buckingham, and daughter Angela Buckingham. He also leaves grandson Andrew Buckingham &Heather Dwyer, and great granddaughter Layla.
