Danny Howard Smith of Burton, age 71, died Friday October 4, 2024 at the Villages of Lapeer. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. Graveside services with Military Honors will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery at 12:30 pm Friday November 1, 2024. Those desiring may make contributions in Danny's memory to St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church, Davison.

Danny was born in Dennison Ohio on October 23, 1952 the son of the late: Dwane and Norma (Rowan) Smith and has resided in Burton since 2013. Answering the call of his country Danny proudly served in the US Air Force. Danny was an avid gun collector and a member of St. Christopher Episcopal Church.

Surviving are brothers: Thomas and wife Marie Smith, Ralph and wife Sue Remer- Smith; nieces: Alicia (Smith) Gohl, (Alex Gohl), Ashley Smallman (Aaron Hyatt), Angela Smallman (Xavier Bobo), Emily Smith; and grand nieces and nephews: Natalie Smith, Ahzaela Bobo, Raymond Smith, Aaron Hyatt.
