Danny N. Griggs "Gripper" of Davison age 73 died Monday October 12, 2020 at McLaren-Flint. A private family funeral services will be held Thursday October 22, 2020, with burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery on Friday October 23, 2020 at 2:30 with Military Honors. Family will received visitors Tuesday and Wednesday from 2:00pm-6:00pm at Hansen Funeral Home. Due to CDC Guidelines social distancing and small gathering at one time will be followed. The family would like you to join them but understands you may or may not at this time and respect your decision.

Danny was born January 31, 1947 in Flint, Michigan the son of the late Leonard and Lillian (Kinna) Griggs and resided in the Flint and Davison most of his life. Danny worked 30 years for Grand Trunk Railroad. Gripper was a member of the Davison Eagles #3589 and Davison Eagle Riders, Patriot Guard, NRA, Davison VFW #4087, and Vietnam Veterans of Michigan.

He is survived by children: Jennifer Lewis, and Danny Griggs Jr., grandchildren: Rylee Edmonds, Raynne Edmonds, Zackaria Holtslander, and RJ Lewis; great grandchild: Kayden Holtslander; brothers: David (Sarah) Griggs, and Robert Griggs, sister: Linda Jasmine, and host family and friends.
