Danny Mason Caryl, 74, of Lapeer, died August 14, 2020, at Lapeer County Medical Care Facility.  He was born May 7, 1946, in Goodrich, MI, to Basil and Marion (Hull) Caryl.  In his youth, Danny enjoyed going to church with his mother and singing beautifully in their church choir.  His favorite childhood hobby was constructing model cars.  Throughout life, he was an avid music lover and listened to a variety of hymns and oldies.  He was often found outside in a rocking chair with his beloved radio or cd player.  He had a tender heart and treasured all types of animals.  Later in life, Danny enjoyed vacationing on Drummond Island with his family.  Danny is survived by his sister, Dian Becker, and many nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Basil and Marion, and his brother-in-law, Philip Becker III.  There will be a private service at a later date.
