With heavy hearts we announce the death of Dan G. Morse, age 73, born on January 27, 1950 to Annie Lou (Frazier) and Harry C. Morse. Dan died peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He was a proud US Marine Corp Veteran of the Vietnam War (Semper Fi). Dan was a letter carrier in Flushing for 35 years. He was an avid golfer and loved being in the outdoors. He had a passion for making people laugh, gardening, hunting; fishing and being part of the Birch Run High School reunion committee class of 1968- where he had many friends.

Dan is survived by his love of 30 years and bride of 20 years Peggy (Scully) Morse. His daughters Michelle (Morse) Boehm and husband Pete Boehm; Marcia Morse and husband Derick Johnson. Grandchildren: Kyle, Morse, Ryan (Morse) Meacham, and Xander Johnson.  A great granddaughter Ainsely Gekeler Meacham: Brother David (Jean) Morse; brothers-in-laws Michael Knoll and Jerry Totten, sisters-in-laws Vickie Scully and Sally (Steve) Brandt; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Dan also has many close friends from Birch Run and the US Post Office but has a very special bond with Ed Holbrook, Cheri Hays, Matt Perkins, Steve Moyer, and Dee Cass ("TheB") Todorow. Dan is preceded in death by his parents, sister Debra (Morse) Knoll, and special friends Bill Cox, Bob Grant, Frank Stevens, Rod Carpenter, Don and Judy Vohwinkle, and many more beloved cousins and friends.
