Dale N. Lambert of Columbiaville age 81 died Sunday March 13, 2016 at Stonegate Health Campus of Lapeer. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday March 17, 2016 at St. Timothy Lutheran Church 450 Wilson Rd. Otisville, MI 48463. Pastor David Weiss officiating with burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive visitors 11am-2pm and 4-8pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Lambert will lie in state at the church from 10:00 am Thursday until time of service at the church. Dale was born in Michigan on December 1, 1934 the son of the late Neil and Eleanor (Manwell) Lambert and has resided in the Columbiaville area most of his life. Dale was joined in marriage to Constance L. Rodery June 26, 1954 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Davison; MI. Dale was founding member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church, active member of the Columbiaville Rotary Club, and International Grocers Store Association. Dale started working at the grocery store at the age of 16 years old in Columbiaville and went onto owning and operated the Lambert's IGA at the age of 22 years old until his retirement. He leaves behind wife of 61 years Constance " Connie", daughters: Laura Pratt, Liana and husband Bob Burns, and Lynnette and husband Troy Shannon; son in law Glenn Mudd; grandchildren: Brett (Melissa )Church, Robert (Lisa) Burns, Stacey( Jason) Eldred, Taylor( Jonah) Wright, Joshua (Samantha) Burns, Jason Burns, Ellie Shannon, Evan( Elly) Mudd, Brady Mudd, and Keaton Mudd; 11 great grandchildren; brother: Joe and wife Tonita Lambert.
