Dagmar Lewis of Grand Blanc formerly of South Bend Indiana, age 95, died Sunday September 18, 2022 at Brookdale Assisted Living. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. Those desiring may make contributions in her memory to the Care Team Hospice.

Dagmar was born in Augsburg, Germany on April 14, 1927 the daughter of Ludwig and Maria (Birkhofer) Hinz and had resided in Germany until 1947. She located in South Bend Indiana for most of her life, until relocating to Grand Blanc the last several years. She was joined in marriage to Karl Lewis in 1947 and she preceded her in death. She was an avid Bridge player and spent numerous hours reading.

She leaves to cherish her memory son Jim and wife and Vickie Lewis, and daughter Barbara Lewis. She also leaves her four grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. Please share your condolences at www.hansenfuneralhome.net
