Crystal Katherine Furtaw of Flint, age 64, died Monday August 22, 2016 at McLaren-Flint. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday August 25, 2016 at Meadowview Cemetery, Davison. Crystal was born in Flint Michigan on January 2, 1952 the daughter of the late John and Lucille (McCafferty) Buterakus and has resided in the Flint area her entire life.Surviving are daughter Celibeth Furtaw, son Jacob M. Furtaw and grandchildren Alexis Abulibdeh, and Aiden Abulbdeh. life partner John Whitcome. She also leaves her brother Markos Buterakus, sisters; Karen (Richard) Wilhelm, Sharon Lieghty, Colleen (Rich) Firman, Susan Spencer,Athenia (Terry) Dury, and a host of other relatives.
