Ret. Paramedic Deputy Craig Alan Brock of Davison, age 65, died Friday March 18, 2022 at Brookdale Assisted Living. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday March 23, 2022 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Mr. Brandon Perry officiating: burial to follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery.  Family will receive visitors from 2-7 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in Craig's memory to Wounded Warriors or Outreach East.

Craig was born in Flint Michigan on July 18, 1956 the son of the late Halvard & Delores (Lunde) Brock and had resided in the Davison area most of his life. He was a graduate of Davison High School Class of 1974. Answering the call of his country Craig proudly served in the US Army, stationed in Texas and Germany.  His greatest love was his children, grandchildren and extended family. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing,.  Craig had a true passion for hot rod cars, and had over the years become an excellent marksman. Many will remember Craig's humor and loving personality.  Craig's love for his community continued after his military career, as a Deputy Sheriff, and Paramedic for Genesee County Sheriff's Department retiring in May of 2009 with 22 years of service.  He continued to serve the residents of Genesee County as a law enforcement officer for the Genesee County Parks retiring in 2010.

Surviving are children: Benjamin and wife Kelsea Brock, and Chelsea and husband Brandon Perry.  He also leaves his loving grandchildren: Madi, Claire, Emerson, Nolan, Ellory, Christopher, Dolores, Benaiah, and Gideon. Also surviving are brother Marty and wife Vickie Brock, sisters, Cheryl and husband Randy Ackerman, Karen and husband Brad Wallen, special best friend, LuAnne VanAllsburg, the mother of his children Kathy Bowden, and a host of extended family and friends.  The family would like to thank Janet Woodward and the staff of Brookdale Assisted Living for their many years of care and compassion.
