Coraine Sue Albers of Burton, age 76, died Saturday February 10, 2024 at McLaren-Flint Hospital. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. No public services are being held. Those desiring may make contributions in Coraine's memory to the Hurley Children's Foundation.

Coraine was born in Flint Michigan on August 13, 1947 the daughter of the late Herman & Martha Schafer and has resided in Burton the last several years relocating from the Mayville area.  She was joined in marriage to James A. Albers on May 27, 1995 and he preceded her in death on October 19, 2020. Coraine was a Christian lady and enjoyed attending church, and had passion for crocheting. Coraine loved to go to Casino's and never missed a good day of BINGO.

She is survived by daughter Ann and husband Matt Ash and son David Richards. She also leaves her loving granddaughter Ashley and husband Tom Prado, and great grandchildren: Carter, Aaron, and Andrea. Surviving also are sisters Paula, Janet, and a host of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
