Connie Lee Caruthers of Vassar, age 65, died Wednesday January 27, 2021 at her residence. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Connie was born in Caro Michigan on January 16, 1956 the daughter of Duane & Ollie (Culler) Mitchell and has resided in the Vassar the last fourteen years, spending most of her life in the Mayville-Caro area. She was joined in marriage to Terry Caruthers on February 2, 2008. Connie loved to crochet and was an avid bingo player. She loved to bowl and enjoyed a good pool game, and was a member of Vassar FOE # 2380 and a former member of Caro Moose Lodge #1049.

She leaves to cherish her memory husband Terry, children: Ronnie (Becky) Christian, Angela (Christopher) Swartz, and Cody Schnell. She also leaves her loving seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and her mother Ollie Yoder. Surviving siblings; Sandy Kratz, Vickie Britton, and Chuck Mitchell.  Connie is preceded in death by father Duane Mitchell, and step-father Philip Yoder.
