Coleman Samuel Irvine of Genesee Township, age 85, died Thursday December 14, 2017 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 11: 00 am Tuesday December 19, 2017 at Hansen Funeral Home 421 N. Main St. Davison. Rev Andrew Auclair officiating, Burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive visitors form 3-8 pm Sunday and Monday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in Coleman's memory to the family. Coleman was born in Houlton Maine born April 13, 1932 the son of the late Clarence and Laura Irvine and has resided in the Genesee Township area the last seventeen years. He was joined in marriage to Jean Stanhope on November 5, 1950.  He had been a Boy Scout Master and employed by Lake Fenton Community Schools until his retirement in 1985. He leaves his wife Jean, children: Michael & Sue Irvin, Debra & Michael Johnson, and Bonney & Victor Jenkins. He also leaves his twelve grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren. Also surviving is brother Jimmy Irvin and a host of extended family.
