Clyde C. Coon of Richfield Township, age 73, died Saturday December 6, 2014 at Briarwood Convalescent Center. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm Thursday December 11, 2014 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Rev. D. Joey Graves officiating. Private burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery will be held at a later date. Family will receive visitors from 12:00 noon till time of services on Thursday. Those desiring may make contributions in Clyde's memory in care of Hansen Funeral Home. Clyde was born in Flint Michigan October 21, 1941 the son of the late: AJ and Mary (Howard) Coon and has resided in the Davison area his entire life. Answering the call of his country Clyde served in the US Army. He was joined in marriage to Phyllis Filkins in 1991 and she preceded him in death February 13, 2013. He was a graduate of Davison High School and had been employed by General Motors Buick Motor Division for over 33 years retiring in the early 2000's. He is survived by daughter Debra and husband Nadav Martinez. Joe Minerd, Ralph & Jeannette Minerd, Donna Minerd, and Pam & Dennis Osgood.
