Clarice Mae Meade

Clarice Mae Meade of Davison, age 80, died Thursday April 9, 2026 as result of Alzheimer’s and Dementia, at the Pines of Goodrich. No services will be held.

Clarice was born in Flint Michigan on December 17, 1945 the daughter of the late; Clair C. and Bessie M. (Taylor) Meade and has resided in the Davison area for many years. Clarice always enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. Her greatest love was her grandchildren. They called her Tootsie Grandma, because she always had a dish full of Tootsie Rolls. The grandchildren remembered the sign on her wall saying if mom says no just call “1-800 Grandma”. She was employed by Davison Community Schools until her retirement.

She leaves to cherish her memory daughters: Vicki (Sharon) Cushman, and Lisa (Mike) Stowell, her loving grandchildren: Mitchell (Hanna) Syrowik, Nolan (Jenna) Stowell, and Shaine Wildo. She also leaves a host of extended family and friends. Clarice is preceded in death by son David Scott Cushman, and grandson Brendan Stowell.
