Clarence Robert Ward Sr. of Vassar, age 69, died Thursday July 14, 2022 at McLaren-Bay Regional Hospital. Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 pm Wednesday July 20, 2022 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Rev. Tony Jacobs officiating; burial will follow at Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive visitors from 1-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in Clarence's memory to the family or Hansen Funeral Home.

Clarence was born in Ft. Knox Kentucky on November 28, 1952 the son of the late; Elias & Bernice (Davis) Ward and has resided in the Vassar area for many years. He was joined in marriage to Terry Diamond on September 17, 1988 in Flint Michigan. Clarence was a simple man, and loved all types of music.

He is survived by his wife Terry, children: Vanessa (Jason) Lawrence, Clarence Ward Jr., Aaron Ward, Tiffanye Promenchenkel, Tammie Gardner, and John Gardner. He also leaves his thirteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, brothers; Lonnie (Janice) Ward, Jim Ward, Damon Ward, and a host of extended family and friends.
