Cheryl "Cheri" Diane Vennie age 58, of Davison, Michigan passed away on July 3 ^rd , 2019. She was born on February 23 ^rd , 1961 to Claude and Kathryn Vennie and lived in the greater Flint area her entire life.

Cheri was an exceptionally strong and proud individual, accomplishing many things throughout her life, even though she was challenged by serious and long term health concerns. However, she never let this get in her way and faced these many challenges with courage and determination.

She graduated from Ainsworth High School in 1979 and went on to obtain a business degree from Baker College of Flint, Michigan. She then worked for the Muffler Man Corporate Office for a number of years before ultimately owning and operating her own location.

Cheri's main passion was for her family and she devoted much of her time and energy to helping others, serving as a caregiver and keeping everyone up to date with each other and their lives. She always put family need in front of hers and was the first to help when needed.

She is survived by her parents Claude and Kathryn Vennie, brother Mike (Wendy Olsen) Vennie, sister Lisa (Pete) Stalker, nephews Michael (Nicole) Vennie, Mathew (Angela) Vennie, David (Carolina) Vennie, Daniel Vennie, David Stalker, and nieces Tiffany Vennie, Ashley (Ryan) Hempton, and many great nephews and nieces.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 noon Friday July 12 ^th , 2019 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Rev. Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating. Family will receive visitors from 11:00 am Friday until time of services. Please share your condolences at www.hansenfuneralhome.net
