Charlotte Diane Oesterman of Davison, age 71, died on Tuesday August 11, 2015 at Hospice House of Shiawassee County. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. Charlotte was born in Cleveland Ohio on October 31, 1943 the daughter of the late Charles & Doris (Benninger) Lowe. Charlotte was a dedicated mother and homemaker. As a young mother, she juggled parenthood and career as the owner and editor of a successful Detroit newspaper, The Advertiser. Charlotte instilled rich family values in her children by lovingly hosting may family gatherings throughout her life. In recent years, she volunteered with the American Legion Post 267 Women's Auxiliary, and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Clio. She is survived by her husband thirty-eight years, Donald. daughters Merri (Bryan) Mortimer, Donna (Arron) Bley, Missi Oesterman; adopted son, Kaw-Liga (Toni) Hatch; grandchildren Jaron, Vaughn, Marcy, Ian, Gage, Breanna; great granddaughter Amelia Patricia.
