Charles Ernest Wright Jr. of Flint age 62 died Thursday July 19, 2012 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday July 28, 2012 at the Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Pastor Carl Cooke officiating. Family will recieve visitors from 11:00 am Saturday July 28, 2012 until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in Charles's memory to the American Cancer Society. Charles was born in Tawas Michigan on January 4, 1950 the son of the late; Charles & Minnie (Ried) Wright and has resided in the Flint area since 1968. He was joined in marriage to Carol Louise McCalmon in 1968 and she preceded him in death in 2006. Charles was employed by General Motors Buick Division retiring in 2000. Surviving are children, Tina Wright, Melodie (David) Longs, Amy (Jeff) Lumm, and Kevin Wright. Nine grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
