Charles "Chuck" Willson Jr. of Richfield Township age 82 died Wednesday April 1, 2015 at his residence. A funeral service will be held 12:00 noon Wednesday April 8, 2015 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel Downtown Davison. Fr. Andrew Czajkowski officiating with burial at Flint Memorial Park at a later date. Family will receive visitors Tuesday April 7, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home. A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00pm Tuesday by 40-8 Voiture. Those desiring may make contribution to the Davison VFW #4087 or Wounded Warrior Project. Chuck was born in Saginaw Michigan on December 11, 1932 the son of the late Charles and Vona (Bosley) Willson. Answering the call of his country Chuck served in the Korean War from September 21, 1950 to September 21, 1953. Chuck married Amanda (Hesse) Lame on November 7, 1959. Chuck was a life member the Davison VFW Post 4087, Burton Eagle, American Legion Post 267, and 40-8 Voiture 1536. Chuck drove truck for A&P, Gate Way, Pepsi, and Teamster 332. He is survived by his wife 55 years Amanda; children: Maxine Beutler, Anna Willson, Lisa Morse (Mike), and Chuck and wife Amy Willson; grandchildren: Milissa and husband Marty Block, Christina Beutler, Kristopher Morse (Savannah), Devon and wife Valerie Morse, Ethan Willson, Tonya Holmes, and Stefanie Morse; great grandchildren: Taylor, Gavin, Quinn, Jake, and David; sister: Hazel "McRae" Kimmel and many nieces and nephews.
