McCall, Charles Marlin (Charlie) of Genesee Township, age 73 passed away on August 30, 2009 at his residence, surrounded by his wife Mary and their five children by his side. Cremation has taken place per Charle's request. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society. Charles was born on December 1, 1935 in Franklin, North Carolina to the late George and Eva (Gregory) McCall. He was a retiree from GM Truck and Bus after 37 ½ years and also was Skilled Trades Committee Man. Charles hobbies included deer hunting, trout fishing in the mountains of North Carolina, watching his grandsons play hockey and football though out the country and Canada, and most of all he enjoyed the of golf. He was also a former member of the Masons. Surviving are his wife Mary of 53 years and their 5 children; Debra (Derrick) Gleason Sr. of Fostoria, Glenda (Andy) Isaac of Burton, Wanda (Ron) Mitchell of Davison, Tommy McCall of Mt. Morris , and Anita (Felix Proto) of Orange, CT.; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, sibling Roselee Bradley of NC, Lucille (Bob) Harris of WV, G.B. (Eva) McCall of NC, Bill McCall of VA, Marcella Ayers of GA, Bob (Carolyn) McCall of NC and sister-in-law Jackie McCall of FL. A Special mention of his hunting buddies and his golfing partners that was all very dear to him. He was preceded in death by his brother Arland, brother-in-law Jeat Bradley, nephews Randy & Gregory. The family would like to extend a special thank you for all of the support through a very hard and difficult time.
