Catherine P. Timmons of Burton age 74 died Friday June 26, 2015 at Hurley Medical Center. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 3:00 pm Monday June 29, 2015 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Fr. Carl Simon, Celebrant. Cremation will follow at Sunset Hills Crematory. Family will receive visitors from 1:00 pm Monday until time of services at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in Catherine's memory to the family. Catherine was born in Flint Michigan on November 22, 1940 the daughter of the late Maxim & Agnes (Murray) Burnash and has resided in the Flint-Burton area her entire life. She was joined in marriage to Terry Timmons on October 11, 1958. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and also attended St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Davison. Catherine was an avid lottery player and also enjoyed her trips to the Casinos. Her greatest love and devotion was to her family and they knew she was their most devoted supporter through life. Later in life Catherine returned to college and graduated with her nursing degree. She was then employed by Genesys Hospital as a Medical LPN until her retirement in 2003. She leaves to cherish her memory husband Terry, children Annette Timmons, Terilyn Kirchner, Kirk (Sherise)Timmons, her grandchildren; Jason (Laura) Kirchner, Chelsy (Issa) Abufarha, Christyn Timmons & Fiancé' Brian, Bryce Timmons, and Ellie Timmons: Also her great grandchildren Isaac Kirchner, Alden Kirchner, and Jehad Abufarha. Her Sisters: Mary Lou Krish, Ida (Bob) Forestburg, Brothers Michael Burnash, Max Burnash, and a host of other relatives. She is preceded in death by daughter Christine Timmons.
