Carol Marie Wilson of Davison, age 94, died Wednesday November 9, 2016 at Lapeer County Medical Care Facility. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday November 12, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church 706 W. Flint St. Davison. Rev. Todd I Frusti officiating; burial to follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 4-8 pm Friday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in Carol's memory to the Humane Society or Paradise Animal Rescue of Lapeer. Carol was born in Lansing Michigan on March 30, 1922 the daughter of the late: Ellison & Carol (Stanley) Smith and has resided in the Davison area since 1965. She was joined in marriage to John Henry Wilson in September 1944 and he preceded her in death December 1967. She is a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Davison, and formerly a member of Calvary Lutheran Church. Carol was an avid lover of all animals and really enjoyed the sport of horse racing. She leaves to cherish her memory daughter, Judy Wilson, sons; John Wilson, and Terry Wilson. She also leaves her loving grandchildren; Jonathan Wilson, Michael Juka, John Wilson, Michelle Krish, and her great grandchildren; Jonathan, Jackson, Gavin Michael, Logan, and Lorelei.
