Carol (McCarthy) Dover of Mt. Morris formerly Lapeer age 68 went home to be with the Lord Monday December 25, 2023 surrounded by her family and friends at her residence. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place, with Memorial Luncheon at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions in Carol memory to Strength in Numbers 705 E. Carol was born in Flint, Michigan on April 7, 1955 the daughter of John R. and Bernadine J. (Dupuis) McCarthy and resided in the Lapeer area most of her life. She was a graduate of Lapeer High School. She had been employed by Venture Industries until her retirement, after retirement Carol found a new career at J. Dean Meats and Creative Catering, she enjoyed working   and volunteering, but her favorite pass time was fishing.

She leaves to cherished her memory her mother: Bernie McCarthy; daughters: Jackalin (Mike), Jessica (Ray); grandchildren: Michael, Jayson (Nicole), Devon, Zach, Skyler (Michael), Faith, Austin and Memphis; great grandson: Jackson; twin sister: Carolyn Cieslak; special friends: Scotty, Michelle, Sheryl Ann, and Bill W., and her loving dog and companion Harley.
