Carol Elida Andersen of Richfield Township, age 90, died Saturday December 29, 2018 at Ascension-Genesys. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday January 5, 2019 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Family will receive visitors from 11:00 am Saturday until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions in Carol's memory to the Flint Institute of Music.

Carol was born in Jamestown New York on October 6, 1928 the daughter of the late Emil & Mildred (Potter) Johnson and had spent most of her life in Flint relocating to the Davison area in 1997. She was a member of St. Cecelia Music Society, Councilor for Student Musicale Group, and the Flint Music Teachers Association. Carol was an accomplished music performer, and music teacher her entire life.

She leaves to cherish her memory children; Amy (Roger) Savage, Nancy (Pat) Abeare, and Daniel (Amour) Andersen. She also leaves her loving six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and her brother Ellsworth Johnson.
