Bonnie Kay Thompson of Davison, age 79, died Thursday February 18, 2021 surrounded with love by her family. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. Those desiring may make contributions in Bonnie's memory to Disabled American Veterans.

Bonnie was born in Waldenburg Arkansas on November 16, 1941.  She was the daughter of the late JA and Mary K. (Goodwin) Thompson and has resided in the Davison area since 1964. Bonnie had been employed by Meijer for 26 years before retiring in 2003.

Although Bonnie was a sassy woman who did things her way until the very end, she was also the kindest, most loving, and giving person to all who knew her.  A perfect Sunday for Bonnie would include a visit to Cracker Barrel for their Homestyle Chicken with her family.  She absolutely loved country music and was elated when her grandson fulfilled one of her dreams of going to Branson MO.  Bonnie also enjoyed dancing to Bob Seger and Chuck Berry, as well as singing to Tammy Wynette and Loretta Lynne.  Her favorite past times included reading autobiographies of her favorite country stars, eating whatever snack she was craving, and watching reality tv shows.  In her younger years you would find her sitting quietly as she embroidered some pretty flowers on a pillowcase, or witness her wild side as she rode her motorcycle through the woods or snowmobile on a frozen lake.

She leaves to cherish her memory daughters; Rebecca and husband Timmie Waterson, Pamala Davis, sons; David and wife Judy Ragsdale, Mike and wife Luisa Ragsdale and her loving nine grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren. She also leaves her siblings: Lana (JD) Wright, Dan (Lynn) Thompson, Mike (Thelma) Thompson, Patricia (James) Shutes, JA (Melinda) Thompson, Toby (Theresa) Thompson, Robin (Linda) Thompson, and a host of extended family and friends.
