Billy "Bill" Chron, age 91, of Burton, Michigan passed away on November 20, 2019. Bill was born on June 7, 1928 in Blytheville, Arkansas. His parents Vern and Geneva "Jenny" Chron raised him and his brother Ron in Flint, Michigan. Bill met the love of his life, Millie, at the dime store and they then shared lunch together while attending Flint Central High School. Bill and Millie loved to go dancing with each other. Bill and Millie married February 3, 1945 and built their family home where they raised four children: Jim, Terry, Judy, and Kathy. He supported his family by working at AC Spark Plug for 33 years before retiring in 1998.

Bill is survived by his wife of 74 years Mildred Chron, son Jim (Dola) Chron, son Terry Chron, daughter Kathy Dawson (Art McArthur), son-in-law Terry Thibeault, grandchildren Kevin (Teresa) Chron, Gary (Dina) Chron, Greg (Wendy) Chron, Kristena (Jason) Sterling, Angie Haley, Breanna Chron, great grandchildren, Nicole (Adam) Warner, Josh (Carly) Chron, Nicole Adcock, Thomas (Alisha) Chron, Allan (Sally) Chron, Amanda (Bryce) Willingham, Kiara Lott, Brian Mourao, Grant Sterling, and Jack Sterling, 13 great-grandchildren, brother Ron Chron, sister Barbara Gates, and many nieces and nephews. Bill is preceded in death by parents Geneva "Jenny" Chron and Vern Chron, in-laws Earl and Nellie Keen, sister Catherine Swanson and daughter Judy Thibeault.

The visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm on Sunday November 24, 2019 at Hansen Funeral Home in Davison. Memorial service will immediately follow the visitation at 6:30 pm; Rev. Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating, with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to the Holly Reunion Fund or charity of choice.
