Betty Jane Vertress of Davison, age 80, died Tuesday  February 27, 2024 at her residence. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place, no public services are being held.

Betty was born in Flint Michigan on August 13, 1943 the daughter of the lat Bernard and Denver (Bowman) Thick and has resided in the Davison area the last five years, spending most of her life in Flint. She was a graduate of Flint Central High School and had been employed by both St. Joseph and Genesys Hospital in the Dietary Department until her retirement.

She is survived by her son Mark and wife Tracey Rose, daughter Dawn Vertrees, and her loving grandchildren: Michael, Misty, Nichole and Ian. She also leaves brother Rich Thick, sister Nancy Hampton, and a host of extended family and friends. Please share your condolences at www.hansenfuneralhome.net
