Betty Lou Smithson of Davison age 83, died Monday April 12, 2021 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday April 16, 2021 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church 5073 Daly Rd. Flint. Pastor Gary L. Beck officiating, burial will follow in Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive visitors from 9:30 am Friday until services at the church. Those desiring may make contributions in Betty Lou's memory to the St. Mark's Memorial Fund.

Betty Lou was born in Flint Michigan on June 4, 1937 the daughter of the late Ernest & Goldie (McLean) Riley and has resided in the Davison area most of her life. She was joined in marriage to Richard Stanley Smithson on July 27, 1957 and he preceded her in death on October 24, 2008. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church.

Surviving is daughters; Lisa Smith and Jenanne Pease. She also  leaves her nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and host of extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by daughter Theresa Smithson. Please share your condolences at www.hansenfuneralhomenet
