Betty Jean Johnson of Davison, age 84, was freed from Alzheimer Disease, Sunday June 26, 2022 at the Cottage of Davison. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life for family and friends will be held on Saturday July 2, 2022 from 12:00 – 2:00 pm at Hansen Funeral Home. Those desiring may make contributions in Betty's memory to Genesee County Humane Society, Planned Parenthood or Alzheimer's Association.

Betty was born in Brown City, Michigan on July 23, 1937 the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Wilson) Hickmott, and has resided in the Davison area since 1940. She was joined in marriage to Albert A. Johnson on January 21, 1956.  Betty was a kind, loving, fun mother & grandmother. She was our best friend, counselor, chef & fixer. Don't tick her off though. You'd definitely hear about it. She was rarely idle. We loved her dearly.
