Betty Jean Evatt of Davison, age 92, died Tuesday February 1, 2022 at Mission Point of Holly surrounded by family.  Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday February 19, 2022 at Davison Free Methodist Church 502 Church St. Davison, with Mr. Gary Kelley, Celebrant. Family will receive visitors from 12:00 noon Saturday February 19, 2022 until time of services at the church. Those desiring may make contributions in Betty memory to Whaley Childrens home or an animal rescue of your choice.

Betty was born in Flint Michigan on January 19, 1930 the daughter of the late Stephen & Dorothy (Mudge) Briggs and has resided in the Davison area her entire life. She was joined in marriage to Arthur "Art" Evatt on June 19 1948 and he preceded her in death in September of 1990. Betty was a graduate of Davison High School Class of 1948. Betty had been an active member of her community for many years and a volunteer EMT with the Davison Ambulance Authority.  She was a member of Davison Free Methodist Church.  Her true love was spending time with family and especially her loving grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her memory children; Elwin (Rose) Evatt, Robert (Debbie) Evatt, Beth (Jerry) Thompson, Sharyl (Lyle) Sheroski,  Helen (Tim) Thompson, and Son-in-law Mark Bleuer. She also leaves her loving fourteen grandchildren,  multitude or great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren. Surviving also is her sister Donna (Mike) Foran and a host of extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by daughter Karen Bleuer, great grandson Garrett, and sister Pat Scott.
