Betty Jane Carpenter-Milhorn of Davison age 95, died Wednesday March 8, 2017 at the residence. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday March 13, 2017 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Chaplin Todd Register, officiating with burial in Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive visitors from 3 – 8 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in Betty's memory to McLaren Hospice. Betty was born in New Castle Indiana on September 21, 1921 the daughter of the late: Vernon & Mattie (Wallace) Boies and has resided in the Davison area most of her life. She was joined in marriage to Jack Carpenter on Sept. 4, 1941 and he preceded her in death on Oct. 22, 1972.  Later she married Lonnie Milhorn on Jan. 8, 1982 and he died on Sept. 9, 1993. Betty was a life member of OES Lodge #299 and also Otisville OES # 282, El Said Court #28 LOS,, and Elf Khurafeh  Hillbilly Clan #55. Betty had been employed by General Motors AC Spark Plug and Fisher body Divisions until her retirement. She leaves to cherish her memory daughter Jean & husband Dean Billbrough, and son Bill & wife Nadyne Carpenter. She also leaves nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren, her sisters Doris Ballge, Janet Thompson and a host of other relatives. She is preceded in death by son Frank Carpenter, daughter Jackie Carol Carpenter, great grandson Nathaniel and sister June Lawrence.  Share your condolences at www.hansenfuneralhome.net
