Betty Sue Bergquist of Flint, age 77, died Friday December 11, 2020 at Briarwood Convalescent Center. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place and no public services are being held.

Betty was born in Virginia on September 21, 1943 the daughter of the late Marion & Maxine Smith and has resided in Flint most of her life, spending some of her retirement year in Old Town Florida. She was joined in marriage to James Bergquist in 1961 and he preceded her in death in 2003. Betty had worked for numerous years for JC Penney's in Courtland Center.

She is survived by sons; Robin Bergquist and Todd (Julie) Bergquist, and daughter Shawn Bergquist. She also leaves four grandchildren, one great grandchild and a sister Shirley Ross.
