Bettelu Center of Burton, age 81, died Thursday September 14, 2017 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday September 16, 2017 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Mr. Steven Light will officiate. Family will receive visitors from 1-4 and 6-8 pm Friday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in Bettelu's memory to Relay for Life, American Cancer Society. She was born in Flint Michigan on January 15, 1936 the daughter of the late; Ernest & LaVieda (Alexander) Ellis and has resided in the Flint area her entire life. Bettelu was joined in marriage to Ronald L. Center on June 25, 1955 in Flint. Surviving is husband Ron, daughter Suzanne and husband Larry Gritzinger, son Craig Center, granddaughter Kaleigh and husband Jason Holcomb, and future great grandchild Baby Holcomb. She also leaves sister Marilee Knorr, brother John and wife Claudia Ellis, nieces, nephews, friends, and especially her Bingo Buddies.
