"BRANDES, Beth - of Davison, age 92, slipped peacefully from her family's embrace on September 3, 2017. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am Friday, September 8, 2017 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, followed by a luncheon in St. John Family Center for family and friends. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.

Beth was the daughter of Harry T. and Bertha (Johnson) Gillett. She married Wesley A. Brandes in June, 1950, and he preceded her in death in 1970.

Beth is survived by eight children: Diane (Kevin) Wickliff, Claudia Edgar, Kraig (Cindy) Brandes, Hal Brandes, Susan (Bob) Black, Curt Brandes, Brad Brandes and Jeff (Tammi) Brandes. She also leaves twelve grandchildren: Jordan Wickliff and Stacey Wickliff da Silva, Jacob and Matthew Edgar, Melissa Fender and Steven Brandes, Seth and Lucas Brandes, Skyler and Peyton Black and Nicholas and Elizabeth Brandes, along with seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, each of whom enjoyed her loving attention and held her in highest regard.
