Bernetta Jobin of Genesee Township, age 84, died Thursday April 9, 2020 at Select Specialty Hospital. Private family Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated  Wednesday April 15, 2020 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church 5199 Richfield Rd. Flint. Fr. Roy Horning will officiate with burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park.

Bernetta was born in Flint Michigan on Dec. 22, 1935, the daughter of the late: William E. and Imogene (Emerson) Coates, and has resided in the Mt. Morris – Genesee area her entire life. She was joined in marriage to Frank R. Jobin and he preceded her in death in 1991. Bernetta was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, and worked for Catholic Charities and was the Coordinator for the Bread of Life Program in Flint before her retirement.

Surviving are daughters Anita Thorton & friend Todd Sands, Renee and husband Dan Hunt, sons: Randy and wife Gloria Jobin, Curtis Jobin, and Jeffrey and wife Tammy Jobin. She also leaves nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and many loving friends. She is preceded in death by son Steven Jobin and grandsons Daniel Jobin-Hunt, Christopher Jobin, sisters: Eleanor Gilroy, Elizabeth Henderson, and brother William E.
