Bernard T. "Bernie" Latzy Jr. of Davison age 50 died Friday October 11, 2013 at the residence. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Tuesday October 15, 2013 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 404 Dayton St. Davison. Fr Andrew A. Czajkowski, Celebrant. Rite of Committal will follow at St. John Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 1-4 and 6-8 pm Monday at the funeral home, with a parish scripture service at 7:00 pm. Bernie will lie in state at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 am until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in Bernie's memory to the family. Bernard was born in Flint Michigan on February 18, 1963 the son of Bernard & Judy (Fuhst) Latzy and has resided in the Davison area most of his life. He was joined in marriage to Emma Clouse on July 26, 1996 in Flint. He was a graduate of Davison Community Schools. Bernie was an avid Green Bay Packer Fan. Surviving are wife Emma, daughter Elizabeth "Liz" Latzy, Parents Bernard "Ben" & Judy Latzy Sr. Brother Michael J. Latzy, sisters Cheryl & Mike Lynch, and Paulette & Jim Jerke. Aunt Dorothy Latzy and family, cousin Charles Stahara and family and a host of other relatives and friends. Bernie is preceded in death by his grandparents.
