Barbara Jean Garchow of Davison, age 80, died Sunday February 17, 2019 at Select Specialty Hospital, Flint. A Memorial Service will be celebrated at 11:00 am Monday February 25, 2019 at Peace Presbyterian Church 1521 N. Elms Rd. Flint, with Rev. Andrew Winters officiating. Private burial will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions in Barbara's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Shriner's Children's Hospital.

Barbara was born in Flint Michigan on August 4, 1938 the daughter of the late Robert & Grace (Coffell) DeLaurier and has resided in the Davison area since 1980. She was joined in marriage to Ivan B. Garchow in 1955, at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Flint and he preceded her in death in 2011. Barbara enjoyed music, game shows, and was a avid reader.

She is survived by children: Kimberly Garchow, Angela (Donald) Oman, Robert Garchow, Michael Garchow, Suzanne Adams, and Chris Garchow. She also leaves her loving grandchildren; Ryan Oman, Matthew Oman, Jason Adams, Chad Adams, Jacob Garchow, and great grandchild Henrik Oman.
