Barbara Ann Crawford of Davison age 76 died Thursday May 8, 2025 at Hurley Medical Center. A funeral gathering will be held at 11:00 until 12:00 noon Friday May 16, 2025 at Hansen Funeral Home Downtown Davison, with burial at Richfield Union Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 2:00-5:00 pm Thursday May 15, 2025 at the funeral home. Those desiring to make contributions in Barbara's memory may make them to Genesee Humane Society or Hurley Children Foundation.

Barbara was born in Flint, Michigan on December 4, 1948 the daughter of the late Allen and Madeline (Lewis) Jones and resided in the Flint area most of her life until moving to Davison in 2015. Barbara graduated from Flint Northwestern High School in 1965 and she later received her master's degree in social work in 1992 at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. She worked as social worker for over 20 years specializing in substance abuse. Barbara had a passion for helping her community; she was a member of Heather Creek Church for many years where she helped create at support group called Christ in Recovery. Barbara enjoyed running and always finding time for some quiet time to devote herself to a good thriller or mystery book. She also enjoyed life and spending time with her family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her memory her life partner: Loren "Scott" Miller; sons: Darin and wife LaShonda Crawford, and Michael Howard; granddaughter: Tierra Burns; sister: Linda Jones Magee; she also leaves a host of nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her brothers: Michael Jones, Henry Jones, Leon Lewis, and Frederick Jones.
