Barbara Ann Angellar of Davison age 81 died Thursday February 16, 2012 at Sterling House of Davison. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm Sunday February 19, 2012 at the Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison, Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski officiating. Cremation to follow at Sunset Hills with private burial on the family plot in Davison Cemetery. Family will recieve visitors from 12:00 noon Sunday until time of services. Barbara was born in Detriot Michigan August 31, 1930 the daughter of the late; David E. & Minnie (Freeman) Splon and has resided in Davison since 1941. Barbara was a graduate of St Mary Academy in Monroe Michigan and Baker College, Flint. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Davison, a member of St. Mary Academy Alumni Association and a former member of Davison Eagles #3589. She was employed by Reigle Funeral Homes from 1984 until her retirement in 1997. Surviving are daughters, Cindy & Guy Sutherland and sons Nic and Travis; Dawn & Kevin McCarthy and children Mike and Colleen; Lisa Bacchus and children Lynzie and Kenny; Nancy & Jeff McLaughlin and children Carly, Chelsie, and Carson. Her close friend of seventy-one years Betty Evatt. She is preceded in death by mother Minnie in 1953, granddaughter Erika ann Sutherland in 1989, and close friend Joan Hennessy in 2007.
